Coronavirus and Evergreen Park - Updated

It our responsibility to inform you that we have suspected case of the Coronavirus within our Evergreen Park Recreation Department community.  An individual was present at a class at our Activity Center (3220 W. 98th Street) on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 who then tested for the virus after exhibiting symptoms.    They are currently awaiting results.

To err on the side of caution, we are advising that anyone that may have been in any classes on Wednesday, March 11 follow the CDC guidelines and contact their family physician and start a 14-day self quarantine.   Some of the students in this class also participated in activities in the Rec Dept Preschool and Dance Program, both at the Community Center.

Both facilities have since been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, as they are every night.

In this unprecedented time, the Village is making every effort to keep our residents, staff and businesses safe from exposure to this virus.
To that end, the Village Hall will have restricted hours beginning today March 16, 2020.

Business hours will be as follows, until further notice:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday   9am-2pm
Wednesday and Saturday, 9am - Noon

We do recommend that things like water bill payments be done online, or use the dropbox in the driveway.

All programs offered by the Recreation Department, Office of Citizens Services and Youth Department are on hold until further notice.
