Blood Pressure   EP Fire Department
9000 S. Kedzie – Every Tuesday. 10-Noon

Card Playing  Tuesday and Thursday at 1pm

Copy Machine  Fee: 10 cents per copy

Craft Group  Thurs. 9am-2pm. Class is self directed, donations support OCS programs.

Double Nickel Plus Chorus   Wed. 9:30am   Shirley Burt, Director - Chorus is self supporting,  members are OCS volunteers, They entertain at senior centers, hospitals, nursing homes, schools and groups. New members welcome.

Evergreen Parkettes are an OCS volunteer group of dancers originating in the Monday Line Dance Class. The Parkettes have taken their show on the road. Newcomers welcome. They are Governors Hometown Award Winners!

Exercise Classes Tues./Thurs. 9:30 am. Own pace. Leader calls out exercise-music on audio tape. Donation: $1/month, Non-residents: $2. Video exercise, M-W-F 9am (self directed)

Farmer’s Market   Market runs June thru October, each Thursday, 7am-1pm. Yukich Field 89th Kedzie is home to a variety of loyal vendors.

Income Tax Service   Available by appointment, Feb – Apr, Mon - Fri    9:30am - 4:00pm  IRS/AARP trained OCS Volunteer Tax Counselors provide E-filing etc. Assistance with Circuit Breaker and Senior Freeze forms.

Large Print Books   Room 107   (a variety of novels are borrowed for 2 weeks)

Library Room112   Videos/books loaned on the honor system.

Line Dancing  New Beginners - 11-Noon   Beginners12-1pm, Adv - 1-2pm $2.00/ class.   Maureen Kanadet, Instructor

 Loan Closet  medical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, commodes etc.) are available with a non-refundable deposit/donation.

 Meals On Wheels   residents 60+, homebound or disabled may have meals delivered. For info on Meals on Wheels contact OCS or PLOWS (361-0219).

 Monday Movie   60-inch TV screen at 1pm - Room 112

 Notary Service   Notary service available to residents. Do not pre-sign documents–signatures must be witnessed. Appointments suggested. Home visits arranged in cases of hardship.

 Pinochle Tournament   Friday 12pm. 
Fee: $1     M. Brashinger, Volunteer leader

 PLOWS   - Palos, Lemont, Orland, and Worth Townships. The agency provides support to OCS. EP seniors benefit from PLOWS specialized training. They assist seniors in finding  Federal State and County programs/ benefits based on eligibility. Call 361-0219

 Referral Service  Sign up to help our residents with household repairs and chores they no longer are able or want to do.
 
 Senior Citizens’ Drop-in Center Rm 112
Multi-purpose room  furnished through the generosity of the Senior Citizens’ Council. A 60” TV, Cable and VCR, paintings, library books, couches and recliners round out the amenities.

Senior Surfin' Cafe'   Free Internet Service available  - Rm 110     4 computers available. Cafe' open 9am - 5pm.  Internet instruction available upon request.

 Social Services  A limited amount of social services are available to - Contact Village Food Pantry, Salvation Army Outreach, Share & LIHEAP based on eligibility guidelines, and Healthier Evergreen thru OCS Director.

 Transportation - OCS mini-bus, Tues. thru Fri. 9am-3:30 by appointment. (Fee: 50¢ each way).
