Recycling is the Way to GoThis program is offered to fourth grade classes in Evergreen Park. Recycling and buying recycled-content products is the focus of this educational lesson. Non-Pointsource Water Pollution, Should We be Concerned? This program illustrates how to track pollution in residential areas, forestry, transportation, recreation, and farm. The children and adults will then see how pollution and runoff are apparent when using different everyday household products that contain different pollutants. The model that is used further shows children and adults how to prevent water pollution and how to learn other methods of conversation via buffer strips, soil, clay berms, and manure containers.
